Thank you for the photos, and I do see that metal piece there interfering with the Curt Hitch # C11457 on your 2020 Chevy Bolt EV. I can tell you that we have not seen this before, and I called Curt who also said it's something they have not had any customers reach out to them about it and have never come across this issue.

I have a solution for you, but the Yakima Enclosed Cargo Carrier # Y62VR will not fit in a Class I hitch like the Draw-Tite # 24956 because it is made for only class III or class IV hitches.
